How a run works
- Pick Skill Enhancement as the week's reward type to be paid in Sol Erda Fragments. It locks until the weekly reset.
- In a map with monsters within 20 levels of you, click the Sidekick Pager and kill monsters to fill the gauge. Press GO to summon sidekicks. Each gets a random rank from S down to E.
- The squad fights the waves by itself in the Pager window. You keep hunting: every 300 kills banks Ranger Points, which you collect once every 60 seconds with the Interact key.
- Spend points on levels (the pink arrow on a sidekick, up to 10) or on another roll (GO) for a better rank. A roll costs about one level, so every roll is a level you give up.
- Enemies left alive carry into the next wave. At 50 enemies the run ends. Your result is the highest wave cleared: wave 10 pays 250 fragments, clearing everything pays 500.
- Press X to drop a bad run and start another, up to 10 a day. Claim from the NPC once a day (3 a week); claiming ends your runs for the day, so finish trying first.
Strategy
What to do at each point of a run.
| When | Do this |
|---|---|
| No S yet | Keep rolling and count your rolls. |
| First S shows up | Level it to 10 before anything else. That alone reaches about wave 7. |
| Squad is on the cheatsheet | Stop rolling. Spend everything on levels: S first, then the A or second S. |
| S with two B | Wave 10 is covered. Keep rolling to roll 8 for an A, or to roll 10 for a second S. |
| Still rolling | Do not level a B. Levels keep the rank they were bought at, even if the slot upgrades later. |
| Two slots tie | Level Red, then Yellow, then Black. |
| Points are ready | Collect at once. Every squad on the cheatsheet assumes no delay. |
| No S or A by roll 6 | Restart if you are short on time. From there you would need two S, or S with two A, within a few rolls. |
| No S by roll 10 | Restart. |
| Choosing a day to claim | Aim for a full clear on every claim. Settle for less only when the days left before the Wednesday reset equal the claims you still have. |
